Grown in the province Aceh on the island of Sumatra, this region is home to a long tradition of quality coffee growers. Nestled in the Gayo Highlands, the surrounding country is cool and pleasant all year round. The rich soil has helped this coffee take on it's unique flavor and was relatively unkown to the world as the Gayo people lived in isolation until the advent of modern roads and transports.
